Crowsheath Farm and Fishery is conveniently located between the A127 and A12 in Essex.
The fishery was opened in 1999 and all our fish are English fish and were stocked at this time.
3.5 Acre Lake (main carp and Catfish lake)
The main lake has 1 islands, It has depths ranging from 4ft to 9ft and a map of the lake can be found on the side of the bailiff’s cabin. Please use the knowledge of the map as it will aid your fishing and give you an in depth knowledge of the water. This year our main Carp and Catfish water has produced catches of Carp 37.12 lbs and Catfish 74lbs plus.
4.5 Acre Course Lake
This is seperate from the main lake with a spit adjoining the main Island to each bank. There are plenty of Carp between the 3 to 8lb mark with several into the double figures. Ideal for the newcomer but be warned there are some big fish still in residence. Carp to the upper 20lb area still lurking beneath the surface.
2 Acre Lake
The match lake is 18 pegs and is canal shaped. We have a wide variety of fish in the lake, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Ide, Carp and Bream with weights to 7lb. Matches can be booked by calling our office number below.
1/2 Acre Lagoon Lake
The lagoon lake was originally built as a holding lake for the smaller fish but many pleasure anglers like to fish this lake and you are free to do so for the same cost as the match lake. This is mostly stocked with the same fish as the match lake but there are a few surprises in there too, we will keep you guessing as to what they are.
