The lake was created in 1995 purely for leisure purposes & boasts original carp to 25lb. In 2007 the lake was stocked with carp to 45lb,  with nothing under 20lb & the majority over 30lb. This gave an impressive average catch weight of 25lb in our first year of opening!! An additional stocking programme was carried out this winter with carp between 23 - 28lb along with a handful of catfish to 30lb. We continue to improve growth rates by feeding on high quality premier baits & specialist pellets.
