Bill's Lake

Carp fishing in France at Bill’s Lake is now entering its 9th successful year. All 3 of our stunning venues are packed with quality fish ready for you to catch. Each of our 3 lakes offers you something a little different to the other.

Bills Lake 1,

This ex-gravel pit is over 30 years old with an approximate head of carp reaching 400+! The average depth is 3 metres and an island gives added fishing attraction. The lake is 14 acres with 15 swims giving ample room for a maximum of 10 anglers. Each of the double swim has plenty of room for two, two man bivvies, steps to the waters edge, a slabbed area with a pub style bench plus a weighing tripod and beany mat for weighing the fish properly.

The lake contains huge carp to over 58lbs along with giant catfish to over 120lb+. We also have grass carp to over 46lb and sturgeon to 30lb+.

Bills Lake 2,

We are pretty sure this year it will produce a 50lbs + Carp to some lucky client ! The lake is 3½ acres and bordered on 3 sides by mature trees with an average depth of 3 meters. The main bank provides very easy access to the water with the majority of fish being caught from the opposite bank. The use of a bait boat banks a lot more fish! These are available for hire, please ask about them when booking.

Bills Lake 3,

Fish stocks are very high in this lake with the average stamp of fish being a little smaller than the other 2, however, there is a very large head of 30lbs+ fish and a few surprise 40lbs+ too! We have stocked the lake with over 2½ tons of carp from local sources and some quality “slate grey” fish from Belgium.
