St. Leonard’s Carp Lakes are two beautifully matured, stream-fed lakes. The original mill was built in 1710 and the lakes were formed at this time. There is an unknown stock of original carp in the large lake and it has also been stocked with two tonnes of new carp, with the largest fish attaining 50lbs. There is also a large head of twenties and upper-thirties making this lake a real “runs water”. The main lake is ten and half acres and can accommodate eight anglers at a time so it is ideal for party bookings. The smaller lake is two acres and is available for hire exclusively to a maximum of four anglers travelling together. This lake is also stocked with a good head of big carp.
